Mafia III Faster, Baby! Walkthrough

Complete Mafia III: Definitive Edition Faster, Baby! with a staged Sinclair Parish walkthrough for Roxy, M.J., evidence, pursuits, rewards, and follow-up work.

Faster, Baby! sends Lincoln Clay from New Bordeaux into Sinclair Parish with Roxy Laveau. Their goal is to recover evidence collected against Sheriff Walter “Slim” Beaumont and protect the witnesses who can expose him. The route is shorter and more driving-focused than a full base-game district, but Sinclair’s law response behaves aggressively and several sequences flow directly into pursuits.

The DLC becomes available after the early coalition and first sitdown milestone. If Another Brother Falls is not in the log, continue the main campaign and complete the relevant calls before attempting to reach Sinclair Parish.

Prepare for a driving-heavy chain

Bank cash and refill armor, handgun ammunition, and a dependable automatic weapon. Use a controller or keyboard layout whose handbrake, aim-from-vehicle, and camera controls are comfortable. Lower a setting only if the base game already shows instability during fast driving; do not redesign the whole configuration for one chase.

Create a manual save after the current New Bordeaux objective is complete. Faster, Baby! uses supplied vehicles at important moments, so an expensive personal car is less valuable than a clean save and full resources.

Another Brother Falls: enter Sinclair with Roxy

Meet the Laveaus

Start at the objective southwest of the Bayou, hear Charles “The Voice” Laveau explain the evidence, and leave with Roxy in the provided Potomac Ascent.

Survive the ambush

The police contact on the road is part of the story. Keep speed, avoid getting boxed in, and use open ground when a direct road becomes a trap.

Reach M.J.

Once the pursuit breaks, follow the route to M.J. Decosta. Do not stop to fight every deputy; arrival is the objective.

Sinclair Parish does not behave exactly like the city. Familiar police-clearing habits and markers may not apply in the same way. Distance and broken line of sight matter more than trying to defeat every responding vehicle.

Ten Double-Zero: work around the station

After meeting M.J. and Roxy, travel toward the sheriff’s station. Drop Roxy at the objective and use the nearby junction-box opportunity if prompted by your route. Approach the station perimeter from cover rather than beginning an unnecessary street firefight.

The goal is evidence and witness protection, not occupying the police station. Mark deputies, use isolated takedowns, and keep an exit in mind. Small side structures can contain supplies, but do not lose track of the active interaction.

During the M.J. sequence, let him move through doors and rooms ahead when the script expects it. Place carried objective items only at the displayed prompt. If an NPC stops, pause rather than running far ahead; reload the immediate checkpoint if the required interaction never appears.

Kickin’ Up Dust: create the diversion

Lincoln and Roxy must pull law enforcement attention away while M.J. helps witnesses. This phase rewards controlled destruction and fast movement. Follow the target order displayed by the mission, hit the required property or propaganda, and leave before stationary gunfire surrounds the car.

At the impound area, recover Roxy’s Nightcrawler. Scout the entry, use cover against the deputies, and take advantage of Roxy’s support fire. Refill from dropped ammunition before opening the route to the vehicle.

Once driving again, prioritize the mission damage or pursuit target over random police cars. Ramming at a bad angle can spin the Nightcrawler and cost more time than a missed shot. Use broad arcs, ramps presented by the route, and open fields to keep momentum.

Recover the evidence and chase Slim

The later chain turns the recovered folder and witnesses into a direct pursuit of Beaumont. Stay close enough that the target remains active, but do not force every scripted obstacle. Train and road moments are staged; line the car up early and let the route carry the set piece.

During the chase, clear vehicles that are actively pushing Lincoln off course. Shooting a distant deputy while ignoring the car on your quarter is the wrong priority. Brake before covered bridges and narrow turns, then accelerate from a stable line.

The confrontation resolves through the mission’s capture objective rather than a free-roam choice to eliminate every opponent. Follow the prompt and allow the final cutscenes to complete before leaving Sinclair.

Return to the Voice and confirm rewards

Escape the parish, return the evidence, and finish the conversation with Charles Laveau and Roxy. The main DLC chain awards Roxy-related equipment, including the Nightcrawler and Silenced MK 1020. Check the vehicle and weapons services after the save indicator appears.

If a reward is not visible, restart from the completed post-mission save and call the relevant service in New Bordeaux. Do not replay the entire chain until you have confirmed that the final conversation and autosave registered.

Continue optional Sinclair Parish work

The main story ending does not clear every DLC activity. Charles offers concerned-citizen follow-up work connected to people harmed by Beaumont’s rule. M.J.’s farm opens the herbalism system, where strains can be developed and sold. These activities have their own completion and economy; they are not required to see the principal Faster, Baby! resolution.

Handle one system at a time. Finish the citizen markers with a checklist, then decide whether the herbalism loop is worth expanding for your campaign. A player seeking only story completion can return to New Bordeaux without maximizing the grow operation.

Fix common Faster, Baby! blockers

  • No starting marker: advance through the first coalition sitdown and complete pending calls.
  • M.J. will not advance: let him lead through the scripted room, then reload the immediate checkpoint if the prompt remains absent.
  • Police never clear: create distance in open terrain and break sight instead of fighting at the same intersection.
  • Chase target escapes: focus on route stability and nearby pursuers; restart the checkpoint rather than continuing off route.
  • Reward missing: finish the last conversation, wait for the save, then check the dealer and vehicle delivery menus.
  • Crash or frozen trigger: verify files on the current build before applying an old workaround.

The expansion is designed as a fast, escalating ride. Clean objective focus—evidence, witnesses, diversion, vehicle, pursuit—works better than treating Sinclair Parish like another pair of rackets.
